A camping fork that extends to from 12 to 42 inches on a stainless steel extendable antenna,  a heat resistant wooden handle with a rotating knob.

We believe great stories begin around the campfire.

Our story begins back in 1980 when inventor Bob Holzer had a simple idea to improve roasting marshmallows and hotdogs.  Thus the Rolla Roaster, the original marshmallow roasting stick, was born.

Our products are custom designed and made one at a time in our shop in Idaho. For the original Rolla Roaster you can choose between 13 basic colored handles and 3 camouflage color options. For a heavy duty camping fork options we also have the Rolla Roaster Folding Fork

Autumn and Iceland-Aerial Videos that Inspire Camping

Camping has always been this place where you can go to unwind

What if you used that camping time to pursue your art passion as well?  Here are some aerial videos, from the amazing autumn scenes of Colorado to the majestic waterfalls of Iceland, that inspire camping.    While I aspire to capture customized camping videos that have this kind of amazing nature scenery, I’m thankful to have met fellow filmmaker, David Leiter,  who is equal parts outdoor enthusiast and drone filmmaker.  He works a “normal job” but he makes time to go explore the world by camping and filming aerial videos with his drone.  He’s traveled to several countries and gone camping in many different places.  Check out two of my favorite videos that he has produced.

Marshmallow Toasted S’more All in One

Campfire inventions

I was thinking about how to toast a marshmallow and a complete s’more all on one stick. I was trying to figure out a way to make the chocolate softer, other than just waiting for the marshmallow itself to heat up the chocolate, and how to get the graham crackers warm too.

About the Rolla Roaster and Folding Fork

The Rolla Roaster hot dog sticks are stainless steel and they telescope from 12 inches to 42 inches long. Perfect for backyard barbecues to campfire cooking.

Camping is a huge pastime for many people around the world and we are no exception. Bringing hot dogs and marshmallows to the campfire is an absolute must for us. We used to use the old stick from a tree, but we were always wondering who would get a piece of bark in their mouth. Then our founder, Bob, came up with the idea for a compact metal hot dog stick that would be easier to use and more sanitary.

That's when the Rolla Roaster hot dog sticks were born. The Rolla Roaster hot dog sticks are stainless steel and they telescope from 12 inches to 42 inches long. They are perfect for everything from backyard barbecues to campfire cooking. The beautiful crafted wooden handle, is heat resistant so you are less likely to get burned. There is also a knob at the top of the handle where you can rotate the fork to cook perfect food every time.

We love to roast hot dogs and marshmallows, toast buns and more with the Rolla Roaster. With it's fork-like end, it can handle several hot dogs or marshmallows at a time.

Just when we thought things couldn't get better, Bob came up with another invention: A Folding Fork. The Folding Fork is a hot dog stick that is heavy duty and folds in on itself to make it even easier to carry around.

The folding fork is great for heavy sausages, steak and large hot dogs. It still has that awesome rotating knob feature like the Rolla Roaster has. It also comes with a heavy duty carrying case and a larger EZ grip handle.

Feel free to stick around and look at all our hot dog sticks. If there is anything you would like help with, please let us know.

Happy Camping!
